Develop Africa launched a GlobalGiving project to provide and report on remedial training to 100 girls who became pregnant during the Ebola crisis (and were temporarily out of school). Over the past 2 years, we have provided support to over one hundred young ladies that dropped out of school.

hanks to your generous support, the Tailoring School has had a significant impact in the Wellington community. A number of the youths and school dropouts have learned how to sew. Your support is making this possible. There are 10 trainees currently. One of the current students is Winifred.

Sylvester returned August 6th from a 2 week visit to Sierra Leone. While there, he visited the tailoring school that we support. This school is located at the Develop Africa Empowerment and Training Institute, in Wellington, a suburb of Freetown.
Families in Sierra Leone face unprecedented challenges due to rising costs. Inflation makes it difficult for them to afford basic food staples such as rice, cooking oil, and onions.
