We provided school supplies to fire victims

I hate disasters. We all do.

We dislike the inconvenience, disruption, and overwhelming feeling of the loss.  The hopelessness and despair can be devastating.

On March 24th, a fire ripped through a heavily populated slum called Susan's Bay in Freetown. An estimated 5000 people were displaced. Hundreds of families lost everything!

We knew we had to do something. To meet a need not being addressed by other organizations, we decided to provide school supplies.

Thanks in part to your support, we provided backpacks with school supplies to 50 kids (watch video).

The kids were very thankful to receive the backpacks.

While we are thankful for this start, there are many more kids and youths that we were not able to help.

We welcome your support as we continue to meet the desperate needs of children in this community.

Thanks for joining us in restoring their lives and bringing hope.

Families in Sierra Leone face unprecedented challenges due to rising costs. Inflation makes it difficult for them to afford basic food staples such as rice, cooking oil, and onions.

Extending a helping hand can alleviate a significant burden and provide essential relief to the less fortunate.
