Vocational Training - Tailoring School Helps Girls Avoid Teen Pregnancy
Thanks to YOU, we are making a difference for girls who have dropped out of school.
Alusine, an instructor at the tailoring school, said in this video...
"I want to say thanks to Develop Africa for providing sewing machines to help us with our jobs.
We have been able to bring together a number of dropouts from the community and encouraged them to practice tailoring in order to avoid teenage pregnancy because most of them are girls.
As the instructor, I am very proud of them. They now sew clothes for their mothers and for little children. They are very happy.
The only major problem is that - there are lots of girls out there who wants to join but we don't have enough machines for everyone.
We would really appreciate if you can help us with that.
There are lots of lots of girls who want to join but there are not enough machines for everyone. It is very difficult.
Now that we have electricity, we would really like to have a machine that designs the clothes."

We at the tailoring school are helping to address the needs of these girls. YOUR continued support is greatly appreciated.
