Develop Africa Partners With Nuwach Ministries and Sends Supplies to Cheshire Home

Supporting and Empowering Special Needs Children: Develop Africa in partnership with Nuwach Ministries (www.nuwachministries.org) has provided 2 drums of books and school supplies to Cheshire Home – a special needs Home in Sierra Leone. Cheshire Home is a home in Freetown Sierra Leone that caters for the needs of special needs children.

Helping Worthy Kids on the Streets of Freetown and the El Shaddai Home in Sierra Leone

Develop Africa joined Freeway Ford, Longmont Ford, HELP International, and LEAD Global in helping worthy kids on the streets of Freetown and in an orphanage in Sierra Leone through the Kontainers for Kids drive. The organizations together gathered needed supplies for the El Shaddai Home and the Freetown Street Kids Project in Freetown, Sierra Leone, West Africa.

Develop Africa's President Featured in News Story on Local TV Channel in Tennessee

In December 2008, Sylvester Renner, the President of Develop Africa, had the unique opportunity of doing an interview for local TV News Channel 11 - WJHL in Johnson City, Tennessee.  The interview aired on Sunday December 14th and Monday December 15th.  During the interview, Sylvester explains his motivation for starting the organization - a passion to do his own part  - to make a difference.
   

Develop Africa Boosts Education in Sierra Leone

 

Develop Africa on Thursday 6th November 2008, provided school materials to the children and schools in Sierra Leone. The donated items included text books, note books, crayons, rulers, colored pencils, pens, markers and other important learning materials, including scholarships.

10 Plus Advantage Investment Club

 

The 10 Plus Advantage Investment Club was launched in January 2008.  It’s members commit to do the following: 

 

1.  Invest $10.00 monthly.  Ten dollars monthly comes to just over 30 cents a day.  Larger investments are welcome. 

2.  Promote development in Africa however and wherever they can.
