siSTEM.io is an all-girls FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team based out of West Windsor and Plainsboro, New Jersey.    siSTEM.io MISSION: Our team name, siSTEM.io pretty much talks about our mission. The “io” part tells that “ I owe.” Essentially, our mission is to give back to FIRST, our supporters, and our community. Being a girls team, inspiring other girls in STEM is second part of our mission which we call “Girls FIRST.” We work with young kids in our community, engage them in fun STEM activities and share our journey in FIRST robotics programs. We have mentored many younger robotics teams. We conduct after-school robotics and STEM workshops for young kids in order to inspire them to pursue STEM careers. We organize initiatives like food drive, school supplies drive etc. as our way to give back to our community. We look forward to partner with organizations who are aligned with our mission.

 

Families in Sierra Leone face unprecedented challenges due to rising costs. Inflation makes it difficult for them to afford basic food staples such as rice, cooking oil, and onions.
