In November 2018, the Gyal Pekin for Betteh club at Regent, a suburb of Freetown held 3 sessions on sexual and reproductive health.  The Growth and Changes Book by Dr. Marni Sommer provided the foundation for the discussion. The discussion was led by two facilitators

The girls at the 3 sessions found the book to be very useful and easy to understand. They particularly appreciated the simplicity of the content and were able to relate well with the content.  The discussions were fruitful and insightful for the girls. They had the opportunity to seek clarifications on many issues such as myths surrounding their menstrual cycle etc.
