Ghana Students are Getting a Nutritious Meal at School
We greatly appreciate your support that is helping future leaders in Ghana get an education and a nutritious meal at school. Because of poverty, ignorance and child labor, hundreds of kids do not go to school or drop out of school every year. With your support, more kids will have access to education and therefore greater opportunities and be better positioned to contribute to the community and national development.
Thanks to the support received the Kissinger School located in Eastern rural Ghana has been able to provide healthy lunches to their 250 students. The students in the photos are eating Beans stew and gari, which a product made from cassava. This school meal is the only meal some of these students get all day.
The school expressed their gratitude saying “We are very grateful that Develop Africa is coming on board to help to feed these poor kids. We're very grateful for funds provided this November and December to support our feeding program. The kids will ever remain grateful for the funds provided for food.”
The school also said that it is not easy to cover the costs of feeding the students each day and expressed how grateful they would be for continued support so that they can continue to feed their students each day. Your continued support will help children get their education and stay healthy with a nutritious meal at school. We encourage you to consider starting a monthly recurring donation here. Even a few dollars a month will go a long way. Please also share this with your contacts and invite them to consider supporting this ongoing project.
