Education is the start of an adventurous quest to become a global citizen and to position one to become a productive element in the job market sector. The benefit of having an education goes far beyond what anyone could ever begin to explain in just a few words.

To some individuals, to be educated is to feel and be empowered. In countries of a more defined and stable economic structure the accessibility to education and educational resources can be taken for granted, where as the students and teachers of Africa can only hope that soon they too will able to provide more substantially to those venturing into the learning world.

In a global effort we can help better position Africa in its efforts to sustain quality education by providing the simplest of resources needed in the learning environment.  It’s as simple as donating your own overstock of pens, pencils, paper, and any other supplies you can provide. Check with your family, friends, co-workers, or even your children school and set up a school supply drive to help support the cause.

If you’re a teacher, you may think about collaborating with other teachers in your surrounding area to initiate a teachers supply drive, as the teachers of Africa are in desperate need of material and resources to encourage their students to continue striving for education.

To find out more ways you can collect and/or donate visit Develop Africa Education Projects. I hope you decide to empower the students and teachers of Africa and help support a great need for quality education. J

Extending a helping hand can alleviate a significant burden and provide essential relief to the less fortunate.
