Thanks to YOU, our Develop Africa donors, we have made much progress.

Since our last report, project beneficiaries received solar-powered Polaris radios and new computers. The computers were set up at the Creating Pathways Centre's new computer lab. Computer training for the girls is scheduled to start soon.  Some of the radios were provided in partnership with Lifeline Energy.

Nancy, is one of the students at the Educational Lifeline Program for Pregnant Girls. In this video, Nancy says thanks to Develop Africa for providing solar-powered Polaris radios. With these radios, the girls are now listening to educational broadcasts from the Ministry of Education.

Recent sessions were held that focused on the benefits of forgiveness with personal counseling made available. The girls were encouraged to share their experiences of having conflicts with family members, friends and neighbors and how they resolved it in different ways.

The girls also attended sessions on buildng self-esteem and core skills including core subjects for Junior school girls to be able to pass their Basic Examination that will take them to Senior School when they resume school after they have given birth.
