2025 Develop Africa & Mohamed Sanu Swing 4 Change
Former NFL wide receiver Mohamed “Mo” Sanu is dedicated to giving back to his homeland of Sierra Leone, viewing it as one of his most important duties.
Alongside his mother, Aminata Koroma, and Develop Africa, Mo is working on a multi-purpose community center in Freetown, where he lived for four years during his childhood.
Upon completion, this center aims to offer the local community vocational training, educational resources, and various opportunities.
Construction began in 2023 and is anticipated to finish next year. In the meantime, Mo and his team are actively fundraising to ensure the project's success at a crucial time for education in the country. Here are some photos of the progress to date.
