Volunteers are invaluable to nonprofit organizations. They bring tremendous value, energy, and passion.

In October 2018, when Joseph Penaloza first came to do volunteer work with Develop Africa, we immediately realized how lucky we were to have found him. Through his hard work and upbeat personality, Joseph quickly became a part of the Develop Africa family.

Joseph consistently shows himself to be motivated, capable, and dependable. He approaches each task with a positive outlook and a “can do” attitude.  

He has been instrumental in assisting with the processing of boxes of school supplies that we receive each week. Through his support, we are able to take inventory of the supplies and then prepare them for shipment to schools in Africa

All of Joseph’s efforts deserve congratulations and recognition.  Consequently, Develop Africa is honoring/recognizing Joseph Penaloza with Develop Africa’s 2019 Volunteer of the Year Award.
