MY LIFE:  A CALL AND A JOURNEY

Life is a succession of steps that help us to better understand the fundamentals principles of the mysterious God’s creation. It is going from failures to failures and never lose hope and courage because those failures help to gain more experiences. Life starts somewhere and finishes somewhere which can be at the same place or not but things change daily.

A calling is something exceptional for each of us which is known for some and unknown for others but God remains the only one source of our call means for knowing it, we should be closer to the source who is God in order to fully benefit of our life and make it meaningful and successful.

A Journey is a movement from one place to another or from one level to another all of these create a movement which can be either progressive or regressive because all journey is not benefit but instructive. The fear of traveling inhibits some people to discover the reason why they have been created and what they can do by themselves in order to help themselves and others.

Risk will always be the best option for the evolution of each of us and the whole of humanity. We should accept and see the good side of each event of life as presented and try to move on by getting and accepting the lessons given. Life by itself is the best teacher of all of us because what we did not learn from our family, school, etc. Life will help us to learn it more and even better.

The basic of life

Each one of us starts somewhere by God’s power by not knowing what the future is reserving, each one has a dream that he wishes to realize but God is the only one who knows what shall be done in our future because he is the master of our destiny.

The biggest question of life is not to know where are we coming from but where are we and where are we going?

The true death is not stopping to breathe but to ignore the reason why you have been created, to help each other in order to fulfill God's purpose.

My travel over African’s countries

I have been in many different African countries such as DRC Congo (my Country) where I have been in many provinces, Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya, Comoros, and Rwanda.

By visiting these countries, I have discovered many things which are keeping many African countries and people poor and underdeveloped than others all over the world and I do believe by maintaining or changing some behaviors, Africa and his people will be developed by improving all areas.

Some of the reasons that Africa should change in order to be developed are:

Education

“Education is the most powerful weapon that can change the world" by Nelson Mandela

I have seen people in all levels such as Primary and Secondary schools and University in very difficult and unbelievable conditions in which myself I am a victim; I was studying at the University of Kinshasa (UNIKIN) where we were more than 500 students in a hall that could normally fit only 200 students. For getting knowledge, we need some conditions to be fulfilled but in many of our countries, furniture is not comfortable, the hall contains more people than it can fit which creates frustration and laziness. Many of our countries are rich but the most part of the population is poor because of the lack of good education which could help them to feel comfortable and able to defend and demonstrate what they have learned. By lacking this one, people are trying to create their own option, behavior in order to survive no matter it is good or bad.

Corruption in the most frequent thing which is destroying our education in Africa, the reason why we are getting many people who have finished their studies but are lacking knowledge.

Health

Health is the most important thing that each one needs in order to perform well and to enjoy life as it should.

People are crying and dying in Africa by lack of assistance. Medical care such as hospitals are very expensive and considers first money instead of people, this means if there is no money, no matter in which condition you are or how bad you are feeling, if you don’t have money, no one will take care of you. Up to now, in Africa, we do have many areas in which water used by people is not in good conditions but they are using it because of lack of choice means better for them to get sick by drinking that bad water than to die because of lacking the good one. Also, many of our hospitals or health centers, especially in the countryside, are not well equipped and the people who are working are less experienced and have much lack of knowledge in what they are doing. That is why it is possible to find many people dying not because of their sickness but because of the lack of personnel who are treating them.

Everyone wants to be in town in order to get money even doctors who studied in order to help people surviving no matter where they are, all of them are leaving the villages for rushing in Town in order to get their life and protect themselves and their own.

People are killing each other sometimes for a reason and sometimes for no reason. That thing has destroyed even family members by hating one another for materials purpose or just an unknowing source of jealousy.

Politics

Politics is the eye of African countries and the main source of all bad and good things which happen in Africa. When the eye is blind, nothing will be well for the whole body because the whole body will be blind. Our politicians leaders are the source of the underdevelopment of most of African’s countries because what is the most important for them is to fill their own pocket, to assure their own security and others come late while the population is craving, crying and waiting for their leaders to solve out their problem but unsuccessful, nothing happens.

Leaders are voted by the population in order to solve their problems, to diminish their suffering and to make life comfortable and easy for each one but it is not the case of Africa. Soldiers of neighboring countries are misunderstanding one another and misused their functions by violating their own laws.

The key point of having an unsuccessful politics leadership in Africa is the lack of love because a leader who loves his country, the continent will always need or look for the good of his population, country, and continent. If African leaders are loving each other, Africa will be far and more developed than many countries and continents all over the world because Africa is very rich and by consequence, the population will be well if love dominated.

Culture

In many countries where I have been in Africa, I have seen that culture is dividing people instead of unifying them by helping one another to know and fit in the culture of others but contrary, the culture divides people and bring hate. By entering a country, I have discovered that there are places and ranks reserved for some people, cultures, and ethnics which has become a law and somehow unbreakable. The only thing which creates that division is the spoken language, people of the same country are unified and focused on themselves while being in a foreigner country and they do not want even to learn what they are supposed to learn in order to live a peaceful life in that country. Instead of trying to learn, they are doing their best to impose their culture in a country which is not theirs and this one causes murders, violations, robberies, discriminations, and xenophobia such as the case found in South Africa, Burundi, South Sudan, etc.

Once African understand that varieties of their countries, cultures is an advantage for bringing them together and make them more powerful than any other continent because of the diversities found in their cultures, languages, riches, religions, etc. for sure Africa will grow up daily and will have a successful life.

Religion

Religion is among the motor area which influences either positively or negatively the evolution and development of Africa.

Most of the religious leaders instead of being those who bring people together as one flock, their dividing people by criticizing others congregations and religions which push people even believers to hate whoever is not from his religions or congregations. Instead of preaching the message of love, they are preaching the default and mistake of other religious leaders which is miserable and shameful. Religious of different religions are killing one another such as in Somalia, Kenya, Nigeria, South Sudan, etc. because of what they believe and are discussing in other to find out a reason to kill one another instead of edifying one another and strengthen their relationship by respecting the believing of one another but it is not the case of Africa.

Religious leaders are living expensive while the congregation is poor and they are fighting one another because of materials things instead of God’s kingdom's sake.

Families in Sierra Leone face unprecedented challenges due to rising costs. Inflation makes it difficult for them to afford basic food staples such as rice, cooking oil, and onions.

Extending a helping hand can alleviate a significant burden and provide essential relief to the less fortunate.

You can light up a child's life in Africa this holiday season. Imagine the joy of a young girl opening her very first book or a boy receiving a backpack filled with school supplies to fuel his dreams. For many children, a holiday gift isn't just a moment of happiness – it’s a message of hope, love, and possibility.
