Develop Africa Newsletter - Oct 16, 2015

Here a quick update to brighten your Friday and weekend.

We are so thankful for the opportunity that we have to impact and empower lives in Africa.  On August, 31st we distributed 49 durable, solar-powered radios to pregnant ladies in our Educational Lifeline Program -  at our  Creating Pathways Centre .

With these radios, the ladies are listening to and benefiting from educational radio broadcasts provided by the Ministry of Education and UNICEF.

The Polaris, solar-powered radios were provided in partnership with Lifeline Energy and GlobalGiving.  The ladies were very happy to receive the radios.

Families in Sierra Leone face unprecedented challenges due to rising costs. Inflation makes it difficult for them to afford basic food staples such as rice, cooking oil, and onions.

Extending a helping hand can alleviate a significant burden and provide essential relief to the less fortunate.
