Many have died from the current human rights and self determination struggle in Southern Cameroon. Hundreds of parents and young people have been abducted and disappeared. The injured lack adequate medical assistance for life threatening wounds. We are providing life-saving assistance and relief efforts. Victims and survivors will receive medical care and food. Remedial education will be provided to kids as schools are closed.
Hundreds of parents and young people have been abducted and disappeared. The number of those injured keeps rising in the hundreds. Many of the wounded are hiding in their homes, with no medical care. Many families are left without parental care, adequate food supply and other basic needs. Others are continuously fleeing from their areas of livelihood into hinterlands with little to survive on. Schools have been closed since October 2016.
We are providing life-saving assistance and relief efforts for the people of the South West and North West Regions of the country. With your support, victims and survivors will receive relief such as medical care and food at home and elsewhere. We will also provide long term support to families and assist in the education of children.
Medical relief aid will help reduce deaths and eliminate cases that could possibly lead to long term medical disabilities. Through education assistance to children in the short and long terms, their academic progress will not be delayed.
By our estimation, this crisis may take a while to be resolved. It is essential that we step in now to provide assistance to the sick and suffering in Cameroon.
