Future Caterer Thankful for Support

One of the ways educational support is provided to young ladies is through vocational training.  This provides crucial training in marketable skills, which are vital for poverty reduction, economic recovery, and sustainable development.

Augusta comes from a family of eight; both her parents are illiterate and not gainfully employed.  Augusta received educational support from Develop Africa through generous donors to complete her high school education. She will be attending a vocational school for catering starting in September. She is truly grateful for the support she has received to get her high school education and is excited to attend catering classes thanks to your support.

Donors are empowering young women like Augusta to become self-sufficient and a pillar of their families and community.  Making a monthly donation is the most effective way to help girls get their education, but every dollar donated makes a difference.  If you are not yet a recurring donor and would like to sign up for a recurring donation go here.

Another way to help is to share this project with your contacts and invite them to consider supporting this ongoing project.  Just copy and paste the below text on your social media or create your own text.

I support girls' education in Sierra Leone.  Educated girls educate the entire nation.  Learn how can make a difference too at https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/educate-a-girl-educate-a-nation-sierra-leone/

Families in Sierra Leone face unprecedented challenges due to rising costs. Inflation makes it difficult for them to afford basic food staples such as rice, cooking oil, and onions.

Extending a helping hand can alleviate a significant burden and provide essential relief to the less fortunate.
