In July 2007, a team from Develop Africa participated in the annual Kuumba Festival in Knoxville, Tennessee.   It serves as the largest African American Cultural Arts Festival in East Tennessee.

The festival showcases African art and celebrates creativity and innovation.  The team networked with members of the community and shared information about our programs and activities.  Team distributed literature - brochures, newsletters etc.  Several new relationships were formed.
